Abstract
Description
In 2007 we made further additions to our set of online courses on offer and introduced
the possibility for participants to enrol in our courses for university credit outside of our
diploma and degree programmes. We had particularly high enrolment in the Master /
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Contemporary Diplomacy.
Highlights of our achievements for 2007 include:
• developing and running four new online courses in the framework of our PGD
programme, expanding the PGD menu from 8 to 12 online courses
• developing and offering one new online “mini-course” on E-voting to Internet
Governance Capacity Building programme graduates
• introducing training on online teaching for tutors and lecturers
• introducing the option for participants to take individual online courses for
University of Malta credits, which can later be applied towards the PGD/MA
programme.
