For over a decade, the Commonwealth Secretariat and DiploFoundation have worked together to enable small and developing countries to better pursue foreign policy objectives
through diplomacy and to participate more actively in the global community of nations. In the following pages, you will read the stories of several participants from Commonwealth Secretariat/Diplo training programmes, illustrating the impact of this training on the participants’ lives and their countries. While each story is unique, all show a common dedication
on the part of the participants to help their countries engage more effectively in international relations. They, and future training participants, will continue to contribute to inclusive global governance for the benefit of all nations in this increasingly interdependent world.
